When it comes to your home’s plumbing, we don’t take chances. ACE+ use proven plumbing technology to perform camera inspections on your property to identify and repair problems before they can get worse.
What is a camera inspection?
A camera inspection, like it sounds, is a maintenance check performed on difficult to reach areas with the help of specialised camera equipment.
Your property will have a network of pipes and plumbing in the walls, under the floors and under your garden. All of these pipes enable the delivery of vital utilities such as gas and water and require regular maintenance checks to ensure no problems are developing.
ACE+ have a skilled camera inspection team who use proven camera technology to examine your pipes and plumbing for any signs of damage or wear and tear that may lead to expensive repairs if not taken care of. Our camera inspections enable us to get an accurate assessment of the maintenance needed on your property without needing to dig up pipes.
How are your camera inspections conducted?
The camera inspection team at ACE+ have a variety of cameras to suit any maintenance situation. We typically use some form of fibre optic camera to examine your drains for any damage or blockages. The camera is on a long and thin cable that can be ‘snaked’ into the pipes and pushed ahead, giving us a good view inside the pipes that we would otherwise have to dig up to examine.
We also perform guttering inspections with cameras to check that there are no unseen blockages that can lead to water damage.
All of our camera inspections are conducted by licensed plumbers. ACE+ only employs qualified tradespeople so that you can be confident that you are getting the best possible service.
How do I arrange a camera inspection?
Our camera inspections are not performed in isolation. We recommend organising planned maintenance for your property so that all aspects can be covered. Our planned maintenance team will perform a comprehensive health check on all maintenance matters of your property. This will also include checking the status of your electrical wiring, the state of gas supply lines and for any burst or blocked pipes.
Camera inspections form an important part of our planned maintenance strategy. Finding and repairing issues early cost much less than fixing issues that have been allowed to get much worse. Prevention is key.
To protect your property, and to get the benefit of a camera inspection, we recommend organising planned maintenance for your home. The cost of planned maintenance is often less than the cost of having to pay for a costly plumbing, gas or electrical repair.
